體育資訊7月3日報道宣 據太陽記者John Gambadoro，多支球隊都向太陽詢價了理查茲，目前不確定太陽是否會交易他。太陽喜歡理查茲，而且如果留下他，他會是馬威的好替補。

上賽季，理查茲代表太陽出戰(zhàn)36場其中34場首發(fā)，場均22.7分鐘內貢獻9.5分和8.6個籃板，投籃命中率60.5%。

目前太陽陣中的中鋒有馬盧阿奇（今年10號秀）、馬威、理查茲、伊戈達羅。
