體育資訊6月26日?qǐng)?bào)道宣 NBA選秀大會(huì)，中國(guó)球員楊瀚森在首輪第16順位被開拓者選中。開拓者GM喬-克羅寧隨后接受了采訪。

克羅寧表示，楊瀚森一個(gè)“非同尋常的選擇”，球隊(duì)上下都感到興奮極了。

隨后克羅寧談到了球隊(duì)中鋒位置人員擁擠的情況：“這個(gè)問(wèn)題會(huì)隨著時(shí)間解決。我們歷屆選秀的原則都是選擇當(dāng)時(shí)能選到的最好球員?！?/p>

克羅寧談到兩年前曾派出兩名總經(jīng)理助理赴華考察楊瀚森："他們留下了極其深刻的印象，我們本來(lái)希望他能參加去年的選秀。"
